Semi-permanent makeup uses pigment, applied to the skin with fine needles, to enhance brows, lips and eyes.
From subtle to defined, from understated to glamorous, there are plenty of semi-permanent brow and lash treatment options.
Semi-permanent makeup is the most positive, life-changing beauty regime you can have. You’ll be looking your best morning, noon and night – without spending hours in front of the mirror!
The results last between 1 and 5 years, with a colour boost needed every 12 to 18 months.

What you love about semi-permanent brow and lip tattoos at Pure Perfection
Experience was excellent. Kim was very professional and put me at ease because I had never had a treatment like this before. My eyebrows are excellent and the shape is superb. My eyebrows previous to the treatment were disappearing. After the treatment they were like what they used to be when I was much younger. (I am nearly 66!) Carol Jones (after having our 3D Hairstrokes treatment)
I had been considering having my brows tattooed for a while but had my reservations, however Kim was lovely, as always, and totally put my mind at rest. She explained that the treatment would be relatively painless – I wasn’t convinced but ultimately I had total trust in Kim.
We had a consultation where we discussed my expectations, both in terms of shape and colour. Kim spent a lot of time making sure my brows would suit my face perfectly and would be totally symmetrical. Numbing cream was applied and left to work for 10 minutes. She then drew my brows in and once we were both completely happy, she began the tattooing.
I genuinely couldn’t feel a thing and the needle was so quiet. I was happily chatting with Kim throughout the procedure.
I love my new brows and I’m so pleased I took the plunge. It is so nice that they are perfect every morning, without me having to do a thing. I can’t recommend Kim highly enough – she is brilliant. Joanne Briggs (after having our 3D Hairstrokes treatment)
I flirted endlessly with semi-permanent make up over many years. Aside from the aesthetic, I fancied the convenience of an eye liner….I imagined the simplicity of a morning routine without peering into the mirror, spectacles perched precariously (so at least one eye could see what I was doing), trying for that elusive, perfectly placed, symmetrical line. Moreover, I imagined being able to ditch the eternal pursuit for an effective, easy to use product and maybe, finally, I could rid myself of the eye liner graveyard I’d accumulated in my bathroom cupboard!
Trouble was, I’m a worry wart. A proper old school proponent of catastrophic thinking and every time I researched the treatment, swirls of fretful concerns would rattle around in my head….was the treatment old enough to be reliable, why isn’t there an industry standard that defines excellence, would the clinicians training be adequate, is this the beauty world peddling another miracle solution that will be rubbished in a few years, it’s fairly expensive – what about maintaining it, what if the clinic I opted for closed down, what would it look like at 65 and all that before I even considered the possibility of it going wrong! And so…..I consigned my desire to the scrap heap, continued my pursuit for the perfect product and put in for an extension to the bathroom cupboard!! I’d be visiting Pure Perfection for a few years before Kim started her semi permanent training and we spoke about it a few of times….I’ll grant you that waxing, facials and nail treatments are a way away from a tattoo needle breaking the skin within millimetres of your eye but trust is trust, I trusted Kim and valued her opinion. She hadn’t done me wrong (in fact I’ve benefited from her experience and expertise on more than one occasion) over the years, was fastidious in her other treatments and I was always impressed by the attention she paid to details. As Kim completed her training she spoke of the rigorous processes and procedures she was subjected to…..and I began to consider the possibilities! Here I am – 18 months later, semi permanent line in place and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome…. It was a big deal for me and having finally made the decision, I was anxious about the procedure. I have chronic eczema and a lot of trouble with my eyes and allergies but I need not have worried – Kim was superb, the planning and preparation was meticulous and whilst there is no getting away from what it is, the technique is such that you never see the needle and the discomfort was fairly minor. If you have ever thought about or considered semi-permanent make up I’ve two words, “DO IT” – I cannot speak highly enough of Kim’s skill, talent and artistry, you’ll be thrill with the results, and it will reform your daily routine and more besides.
